vidya	Re: First punishment administered in your career (Currently 0 replies) Posted At 20:57:43 09/18/2006 Hi Shashini, I joined a school which is known for its punishments.I found my class very noisy and my colleagues told me that punishing students was necessary to bring discipline.I have seen other teachers using cane,scale and giving severe punishments like kneel down and murgha. One day I had given some homework and found most have them have not done it.This irritated me andI decided to punish them.I got a thick wooden scale and started beating the students.After that no students used to play pranks in my class and wooden scale have disciplined them.
