What's your opinion about American Culture?

Satish Tandon	Posted At 09:08:58 05/05/2004 Now that the American TV is all over the world and American companies have been Americanizing the rest of the world, it is time we found out if it is good or bad for us. When I watch the English channels I feel it is bad but when I find the choices available in the consumer goods, i think it is good. Help me make up my mind.

I like American TV channels (discovery, CNN, CNBC) because many of them are informative and they are well made. I am tired of the concentrated tragedies and meaningless, vulgar song-dance sequences of Bollywood. Americans aren't forcing their culture on us. We have a choice of not buying their product or not watching their TV. So, I do not know what you mean by Americanizing!
